During the pregnancy, we studied electric pumping devices together tremendously. A needle in a haystack if you ask me.

Each week we ask a Real Mom if they would like the NurtureGoods experience. These moms use a breast pump from NurtureGoods in order to describe and share their experiences. In this way, we hope to raise awareness of the NurtureGoods experience and help you make a choice. This week it's the turn of mom Lisa Do you read along?

From full-time pumping to premature breastfeeding

"You want to breastfeed, shall I get you a pump?" It was as if history was repeating itself. Exactly 4 years ago, I received the same question. Then as now, brought a premature baby into the world. Now unfortunately even earlier and at 32 weeks gave birth to our daughter.

I had re-investigated and was determined to want to breastfeed again. Even with the thought of prenatally pumping. After all, if it were to come too soon again, our baby could get the very best nutrition right away.

And so it happened. A few hours after her flash birth of half an hour from contractions to birth, I was hanging on to the familiar yellow hospital pump. 30 milliliters came out that first time. How so!? Full of adrenaline, full of stress from all the events before delivery that contributed in part to her premature birth. Milk just came out!

From that moment on, I had all the confidence and neatly set an alarm every 3 hours. Lactating in the NICU next to our baby girl. And after the transfer to another hospital, pumping in the incubator suite. Day in and day out. out. I watched (and see) her grow from my milk. Think it's sincerely the most beautiful thing you can give back to your baby. My body was no longer safe for her then. But my body is now giving her the very best.

The weeks progressed and every now and then my husband and I alternated. This way I could be with our little son and spend time with him. Because I was in the incubator suite day and night. But at home we had to pump.

Even during the pregnancy, we did a tremendous amount of research together on electric pumping devices. A needle in a haystack if you ask me. We soon came upon the pump from NurtureGoods. Compact, beautiful design and wireless. After some contact back and forth I got to test the pump!

Truly a breath of fresh air and not inferior to the Medela pump I had been pumping with for 3 weeks. I pumped the exact same amount!

Now I have been home for two weeks, I am still pumping several times a day with the NurtureGoods pump and am more than happy!!! Hopefully I can keep this up for a very long time!

Love,
